An legendary camera in great working condition, showing normal wear for its age.
Everything is functioning perfectly as you would expect, even the light meter which is very responsive and accurate.
We have done our usual service:
Body and lens cleaned all around.
Base plate removes for cleaning and re-lubrication of all moving parts. Foam replaced.
Fitting of fresh light seal foam in the body and mirror damper.
Disassembly of the top plate, all moving parts and button cleaned. Viewfinder cleaned.
We have lubricated the mirror gear, so no more squeaky sound here.
The viewfinder, and mirror are clean and bright.
The prism has still some internal specs that could not be removed, but obviously it has no effect on the final image.
The lens is nice and clean without any fault, and delivers very sharp pictures.
